Frequently Asked Questions
Does this graphic pattern reflect Kawasaki's racing heritage?
Yes, many factory liveries, including those seen on cruisers like the VN900, draw inspiration from Kawasaki's extensive history in design excellence. By using genuine graphics, you are maintaining the authentic visual identity and heritage that the manufacturer intended for this specific model line, ensuring it stays true to its roots.
Should I use a wet or dry application method for this fuel tank decal?
For larger graphics like this fuel tank pattern, a wet application using a mild water and soap solution is often preferred. This allows you to reposition the vinyl for 5 to 15 minutes to achieve perfect alignment before the adhesive sets. For smaller stickers, the dry method provides immediate adhesion.
Ensure the fuel tank surface is meticulously cleaned with isopropyl alcohol to remove all wax and residue before beginning the application process.
