Frequently Asked Questions
How do I determine if I need the left or right side graphic?
In the motorcycle industry, side orientation is always determined from the rider's perspective while seated on the bike. Therefore, the left side corresponds to the clutch lever side, while the right side refers to the throttle side. This standard ensures you select the correct part for your specific fairing panel.
What is the best method for applying this large graphic?
For larger fairing graphics, a wet application method using a mild water and soap solution is often recommended. This allows you to slide and reposition the decal for several minutes to achieve perfect alignment. Once positioned, use a squeegee to remove the fluid and activate the permanent adhesive bond.
Before applying, ensure the surface is meticulously cleaned with isopropyl alcohol to remove all waxes and oils, providing the best possible surface for the adhesive.
* If this decal is listed under multiple models or versions, the exact mounting location may vary slightly.
