Frequently Asked Questions
How do I determine if this is the correct side for my motorcycle?
In the motorcycle industry, sides are determined from the rider's seated position. The left side corresponds to the clutch lever side, while the right side refers to the throttle grip side. This standard is used across all official manufacturer parts catalogs to ensure precise fitment.
Can this OEM decal be clear-coated after application?
Yes, genuine OEM decals can be clear-coated for additional protection. It is recommended to apply several thin mist coats initially to prevent solvent attack on the vinyl. Please note that clear coating is a permanent process and will make the decal part of the paint finish.
To achieve a professional finish, thoroughly clean the application area with isopropyl alcohol and use a felt-edge squeegee to apply the graphic from the center outward.
* If this decal is listed under multiple models or versions, the exact mounting location may vary slightly.
